We have been feeding our community since we opened our doors as a church in 1992. But it's more than just food, it's part of the heartbeat and call of our church. In Isaiah 58 Jesus asks us to pour ourselves out for the hungry. Here the hungry have found compassion along with a hot meal, volunteers and guests alike have come to know Jesus, and generations have learned to follow Jesus by serving others.
Every Wednesday at 6:30pm volunteers are serving meals at the Pacific Community Church at 5337 180 St., Surrey. We do our dinners family-style, serving our guests at their tables and eating with them. **We are taking the summer months off to give our wonderful volunteers a break. We will resume in September.**
Do you know someone who could use a hot meal? Doors open at 5:30pm and we have coffee and tea. Does this sound like something you would like to be a part of? Email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: (604) 574-1725.
